Hello, My labtop won't startup and I can't reformat my hard drive alone without a screen reader and because i'm running xp, i don't know how to reformat my harddrive. could someone tell me how?
Since you've posted to this board, I'll assume you've access to another working computer. If your good machine is running XP, and your hardware and OS configurations (windows is run from the same partition, the disc ids and interfaces) match, you might try copying the folliwing three files to a blank, formatted floppy:
boot.ini, ntldr, ntdetect.com
If booting from the floppy works, replace the files once you're back in windows.
